Something about her~

She is forever 20 years old has a height of 162cm and a weight of 45KG. Well not that it matters ^^;;

The next 3 are her forte in the genre of music, forte in tempo of the music and forte in her range of voice.

Looking at the name, it seems that she won’t be a relative to Hatsune family.

This time, the voice behind Luka (Reminds me of Luka from Ar Tonelico 2, which is a pretty awesome game.) is Yu Asakawa. You can hear a sample of her voice at her profile page.

She is quite active in the seiyuu industry with her most recent work in Kyo no Go no Ni. (Correct me if I’m wrong)

Anyway, the demo at Crypton is still in preparation so we do not exactly know how Luka will sounds just yet. I wonder will the pronounciation of english sounds better?

The english pronunciation is quite clear. I guessed Crypton did make some effort into the english library.

Megurine Luka will be released at the end of Jan 09. Costing a whopping 15 750 Yen or 168 USD.

Another song from the single 深愛 has been aired on Smile Gang~

The song title PRIDE OF GLORY~

So how is the song? If you listened to Smile Gang, Nana did mentioned that this is quite a fast, impact song and in her LIVE, this will surely be one of her ‘dance’ song. I’m actually looking forward to seeing her sing this LIVE when she mentioned this line.

Also, the feel of the song is set to be like the 90s eurobeat song and the moment you hear it, it feels like having a love relationship in space. *Sounds like Macross*

As for the lyrics, Nana mentioned that it won’t be interesting if it was sung normally hence, quite a bit of english had been poured into this song and the way she sings the song is filled with accent and a bit of characteristic.

Overall, Nana mentioned that she wanted the song to sounds like a english song but sung in Japanese. O_O;

(Short News) はやてのごとく！ is coming to PSP.

Thou having said that, not much details is known at this point except that the company producing the game is Konami Digital Entertainment and it will be out in Spring this year, which is quite soon.

Most likely the game will be of the ADV genre? Something like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku?

Disgaea 2!!

Played this before on the PS2. Well, I didn’t complete any disgaea before as a lot of grinding is needed.

But, I feel that the story is much much better than the 1st series. & coupled with a hotter female lead character ^.^;

As I have mentioned earlier, Disgaea series is a game which requires a lot of patience and time so the announcement of this game coming to the PSP help alot as you can play it while you are on the go.

The PS2 disgaea was sold in 2006 so it has been about 3 years already.

Some gameplay scene

The highest level 9999. Thou I doubt anyone playing *without* cheat can reach that level ^.^;

The game features voiceover so you can get to hear some wonderful voice while you play through the game. Not sure how the English dubbing sounds like but I loved the Japanese dubbing since

She is dubbed by Tamura Yukari. ъ(｀―゜)

If you have played the Disgaea series before, you will know that the story will contain comedy scenes and it seems that in the PS2 version,

Axel or Akutare is one of such comedy scene. He is the one filming and disrupting the main character at some point in the game. *If I rem correctly*So, you can usually see him appearing where the main character go.

However, in the PSP version you can actually get to go through his storyline.

Not sure whether his storyline will lead you to meeting the game main character or not yet. But one thing for sure is that he is up to no good ^^;

Since they are porting the game from the PS2 to the PSP, there will be some differences to the system as compared to the PS2. But so far, seems that the changes are for the best!

1. Move faster when on the battlefield. *Saves battery life*

2. Changes to the camera angles.

Forgot how the camera angeles is for the PS2 ver already but for the PSP, when you are ready to attack, the camera goes to a bird eye view.

3. Movement of items has been made simpler.

4. Rearrange your skills and your party members in whatever way you like.

Other than the changes, you can now recruit more characters for your usuage. Such character include mid boss<– yes that a character name. Actually a character from the 1st series .

This is also one of those newly added character which you can use. >_< Cute isn’t it?

With new characters, there have to be new skills right?

You’re right. There are new skills added to the PSP version such as the peta class magic skills and the various weapon skills.

0 dmg? Of course not. Its just that the attack has not yet reach the target. I think*…

Thats not all, a feature from the 3rd series has been implemented into this PSP version.

So do you know what it is already? Look at the shape of the weapon.

I have not played the PS3 version before but it seems that a port of Disgaea 3 to PSP might be possible? ^^;

I’m actually quite surprised that the shop promo video came out before the DVD jacket.

Side note: There’s a typo error on Melty Tale Storage at the official site.

4 MVs included with a special unplugged live. Also include are the video for various events and TV-SPOT. . A total of 2 DVDs. +1 from Message 01 if i rem. correctly.

Comiket 75 is officially over a day ok maybe 2 days ago.

Lets take a look at the crowd for the 3 days of Comiket.

The First Day

In the first day, we saw 150 00 people coming to loot the big site of its doujinshi.

There’s even a video on FNN to feature the event. You can view the video from their site but it is also embedded below for you~

The group of girls which appeared last in the video even mentioned that the event make them feel alive.

The Second Day

The second day, the number of people attending increase to 170 00.

The Third Day

On the third day, the number of people attending increased again to 190 000. From the report, there are 11,000 circles participating this day not counting the companies booth etc. Even though the whole world in current having a bad economy, this doesn’t seems to affect the attendance for Comiket 75.

Even though the attendance for comiket went up in general, its hard to say whether the customers did buy anything from the circles or just went to the site to mingle in the crowd or view the cosplayers at the event.

An article from Akiba Blog hint that the number of people walking around in Akibahara with the comiket bags seems to have decreased for this year.

Taking a look at some of the comiket bags first.

The reason for the decrease might be due to the economy downturn.

But either way, having such a big event is good for everyone right?

Update: I forgot to mentioned that the next Comiket will be on ０９年８月１４～１６日の３日間. Its currently scheduled on those date. So hmm its around summer?

So what will you be doing on this new year day? For me, I think it will be like any other day as we don’t usually celebrate 1st of Jan but we do celebrate Chinese New Year which is also in Jan too. ^.^

Looks like comiket 75 is so attractive that a person will risk committing a crime to get there.

Case info after the jump~

Summary:

On 27th of Dec, the police of  Aichi Prefecture caught a student aged 18 who threaten a woman aged 65 with a kitchen knife to give him her car. Reason being he wanted to get to the venue where Comiket is being held.

Details:

A male student aged 18 armed with a kitchen knife threaten a woman aged 65 who was about to get into her car to leave the shopping center at around 27th Dec 11.20a.m. The student threaten the poor victim by ‘flashing’ his knife before her and said “Give me your car, if you resist I will stab you.” With this, the suspect not only got the car but also the victim bag.

The police upon receiving the report deployed their helicopter. (Wow, didn’t know that a heli can be so easily deployed). The stolen vehicle was spotted within Owariasahi and subsequently stopped and arrested by police on wheels.

Hm.. quite an efficient police team I must say. But stealing a car just to go to comiket. =_=; I was wondering if you need to steal a car to get to the venue, then what? Steal the doujinshi that you want when you reach there??

Anyway, comiket 75 starts today Japan Time those going please take note of your belongings.
